The department provides
comprehensive oral health care
for the child and adolescent.
These include diagnosis,
management and most importantly
prevention of oral diseases and
other oro-facial defects of
children and adolescents as well
as individuals with special
needs.

patients by fourth year BDS
students after a thorough
training. Focus group
discussion was carried out
on 05 focus groups at
various wards of BPKIHS. (A
workshop and Training
program for ten fourth year
BDS students (2nd and 3rd
week of November, 2003) was
conducted by Dr. Debendra
Karki (WHO) and Dr. S. S.
Hiremath on Focus Group
